Vertical Ring Rolling Machine Safety Operation Regulation

1 Request before power on

1.1 Inspect the insulation of cable, cord or wire for damage, avoid current leakage and electric shock.

1.2 Inject oil to the leveler of reducer and oil tank.

1.3 Check if all the switches and the operating handles are flexible, smooth and easy to use.

2 Request after power on

After the equipment is installed for the first time or use after long time stopping, the ring rolling machine should be idle running for several hours and lubricated for each sliding (rolling) part.

3 Routine inspection

3.1 Check if the motor, gearbox and other components have abnormal noise.

3.2 Check the lubrication of each lubrication point.

3.3 Check if the safety device is in good condition.

4 Machine adjustment, commissioning and operation

4.1 Machine adjustment

4.1.1 Supply oil to the lubrication point before the machine adjustment and test running as per lubrication requirement.

4.1.2 According to the work piece height, select the appropriate pressure, and use the relief valve to adjust to the corresponding pressure.

4.1.3 The axial alignment of the rolling wheel and the support pin axle can be achieved by the adjustment mechanism of the lower support tail, make the clearance between the sides of the rolling wheel groove portion and the corresponding portion of the support core roll is 0.1 to 0.2 mm.

4.1.4 Adjust the position of discharge plate, make its outer plane is flush with the side of the groove of the rolling wheel.

4.1.5 To adjust the position of the thrust roller and signal roller, use a model with the same dimensions as the final dimension of workpiece to fit on the support core and press with the rolling wheel (The main motor can’t be started), and then adjust the thrust roller and the signal roller, so that they are in good contact with the model.

4.1.6 Use handle to adjust the initial position of the elastic pad of the fine rolling mechanism, then further correct according to the test rolling.

4.2 Commission and operation

4.2.1 Do the preparation before start the ring rolling machine, check all screws fastening situation; All piping joint can’t be leaked, all moving parts can’t be jammed.

4.2.2 All valves should be opened, all parts should be in original situation.

4.2.3 Start oil pump, check if the main oil cylinder movement is normal; if there is abnormal, shut off power supply and check it.

4.2.4 Start the main motor, check if the rolling wheel rotation is normal. If problem is found,  immediately stop and exclude it.

4.2.5 Run the ring rolling machine without load for 2 hours, if everything is normal, carry out the load rolling test. Test according to the process provisions, during the rolling process, according to actual needs, adjust the relief valve to change the rolling pressure.

According to rolling situation to adjust thrust roller and signal roller position during precision rolling process, until make the qualified products; During hot rolling, timely cool the core roller, rolling wheel and roller mechanism necessaryly.

4.2.6 Main oil pump motor, main motor starting and stopping sequence

Start: first start the main oil pump, then start the main motor;

Stop: first stop the main motor , then stop the main pump.

4.2.7 Emergency stop

When an emergency occurs, press the emergency button on the control panel immediately.

5 Safety requirements

5.1 Don’t touch transformer, motor and terminals with high-voltage and other parts to avoid the risk of electric shock. Do not touch the switch with wet hands, otherwise it will cause electric shock.

5.2 The operator should be familiar with the position of emergency stop button switch so that it can be found when needed. Do not touch the switch freely.

5.3 It is forbidden to continue working when the equipment has problem. When the machine is in faulty or in a dangerous state, first press the emergency stop button and then turn off the main power switch. Do not send power before troubleshooting.

5.4 The power switch should be disconnected immediately when power supply is off.

5.5 Water and oil can cause the ground slippy and cause danger. The working ground should be kept clean and dry.

5.6 The machine can’t not be adjusted, repaired, replaced and cleaned during working.

5.7 When workers work with clamp operation, prevent the clamp is involved in order to avoid personal and equipment accidents.

5.8 Workers must wear goggles, protect clothing, protect gloves during working.

5.9 When replace the core roller, the direction of the top must not be personnel to avoid the rolling wheel thrust and hurt personnel.

5.10 When the forging is stuck, raise the rolling wheel and stop machine immediately, and then remove the forged forgings. When the forgings are stuck, do not water on it.

5.11 At the end of the work, electricity, oil and water pathways must be cut off.

5.12 Motor, electrical box and the whole machine should be reliably grounded.

5.13 For operation and maintenance conveniently, there should be no obstructions on the surrounding passages. It should have good lighting conditions in the work area.

5.14 When the rough temperature is too low, size and geometry is not qualified, rolling is not allowed.

5.15 Timely repair or adjustment failure in the work,Repair machine when the power outage, stop gas, water, adjust the machine, only allowed to open the adjusting machine, Don’t allowed to open the work machine.

5.16 After repairing and adjustment, all the safety, protection, safety devices should be installed in the original position, or not allowed to start.
